Watched it. It was 2-4 at half and Stanford put on a clinic in the 3rd quarter beating us 0-6. They keyed on Macleod. She had 4 attempts on goal and didn't scratch. UNC did the same.

But it was the relentless pressure on their defense that really frustrated us. Creating a lot of turnovers when we were on the attack. We made some unforced turnovers in the first half too. Way more than usual. We usually protect the ball and make much more crisp passes than we did last night.

We play an aggressive D and get yellow carded quite a bit anyway, but it sure did seem lopsided with the refs last night. We had 9 yellow and they only had 3 greens the whole game. 🤔

Not bad though. We showed a lot of grit in the 4th. Gave them a few easy ones trying to play catch-up. We ended tied in the draw... so not bad. We're a really good team... just not quite top 15 yet. Two games I wish we had back that were very winnable: Duke and then the upset to mercer. We've secured a spot in the acc championship. Win our season closer next Thursday and maybe pull an upset in the championship. Either way, we should get selected for the ncaa. Hopefully we'll retain most of our returning underclassmen.

Good stuff. Proud of our Tigers.
