IMO it's been very real over the past 2 or 3 weeks. The strength of our team seems not to be as strong as we first thought we were, and its GUT check time for the guys playing the game. They will have to reach down deeper or get out of everybody's way and stop wasting their time!!!
My personal opinion is that our team is in need for at least one more starting pitcher with the ability to win with his arm, and couple more strong bats before they are ready to play for a championship, just my opinion!!!

Might not. But I think we're fine as long as we don't go to Pitt and just lay an egg so to speak.
No one is talking about the puppies not hosting. Everyone hates losing but I think you really need to put it into perspective. The top 10 teams in the acc are as close as you can get.
It wasn't hard to predict a series loss to NC State. Getting swept stung. But it's easy to overlook that we had the fsu series all but won. One bad pitch or we win that series and it's a different vibe if we leave fsu with a series win.
Look at NC State after sweeping us. Laid an egg against uncw and then got swept by Miami.. State was fortunate the last game was canceled. Then mid-week win against uncw and was 1-1 when the unc game was canceled.

After watching all of this season thus far with 3 games left, I’ve got one conclusion. Duke is in my opinion, the best team in the conference. They will end up surprising a lot of teams in the tournament and the regionals. Their only weakness at this time of the season is another starting pitcher. If they come up with him… lookout!
