Correct !! My English Lit professor was a member of the rugby club back in the day as was Jimmy Howard and some other notables. We went to their match one day and you are correct. The game was a big excuse to drink beer in massive amounts. They really had fun with it.

Haven't we always been a rugby school? In the far past, rugby was a counter-culture activity and we were really good at being counter culture. It hasn't been that way for a long time as Clemson Rugby Men and Women play, train and deport themselves in a way that is not very different from a varsity sport.
I much prefer old rugby to new rugby but I am proud of and happy for our rugby teams as the Men were runners up in the men's division.

Yeah, I was about to ask why it took two weeks to find out about it. I know female sports get less coverage, and this was a club sport, but still - a championship is a championship.
