Really hate it for these great young ladies. They have had an awesome year, and have played their tails off all season. They still have another half inning to pull it out. I hope they can! GO TIGERS!!!

Sorry paw, I’m giving you a 👍🏻, but don’t agree with you on our coaching. I will concede you were probably right about pinch hitting Whiteside for Johnson last night (as it worked out tonight with the fly to advance the runner to third). Having not watched a lot of softball, I was not aware that a player pulled for a pinch hitter could reenter the game, so I thought keeping Johnson in for defense made sense.

Anecdote: last night, at about 4 AM I awoke and immediately in my mind I thought about runners on 2d and 3d with nobody out, and we failed to score!!! AAAARRGGGHHHH! Took me another 30 min to get back to sleep….. sigh…..

Well, hope our Tigers win the ACC tournament tomorrow, to take some of the sting out of losing this series. Would’a, could’a, should’a won…. BIG sigh!
