place in the ACC Softball standings.The Hokies 17-5 lost the first game of the series against Florida State in Blacksburg on Friday 13-4.Here is to FSU winning on Saturday and thus putting the Tigers in sole possession of 2nd heading into next weeks ACC Tournament in Brighton, Mass. https://theacc.com/standings.aspx?path=softball

Once again the ACC shows why it simply is the worst. I had the same thought. Why in the world is the ACC softball tournament being played in Mass. A state that has little to zero interest in softball. Let’s play the tournament in Mass. that hot bed of college softball. College softball is relegated to a bottom tier spot in that region of the country. All they care about in that region is lacrosse. Softball is a southern, west coast, & Midwest sport so let’s play the tournament in the Northeast
