Got to credit him for being more serious and forthcoming about what this team needs

You really would like to see this continue.

We need to build a staff full of actual prospects based off their arm talent

You imply that this staff’s previous efforts were not serious, not an actual search for talent.

I would opine that no Tiger coaching staff has ever not been serious in its efforts to find and acquire high-end talent.

Are their evals always accurate and successful? Of course not. But they are serious attempts to attract the best available and willing prospects.

Then there is also the element of chemistry in the locker room and on the field. Sometimes even with the best talent, teams just don’t achieve as expected.

Words matter. The suggestion of some sort of malfeasance by a Tiger staff is not only stupid, but dangerous.
