Why don’t they have to go to work?
Even if I was passionate about people in America waiving foreign flags, I’d be like sorry, got to be at work Monday morning…..I’ll see you again Saturday.

This *is* their "work." They are funded. With tax-payer dollars mostly, laundered through left-wing NGOs. With DOGE cutting off the grift, it's panic time. Open Society and Tides foundations will help for awhile but not enough to replace what they were stealing from the government taxpayers.

It is difficult to get my daughter to believe governments including ours have under ground organizations that pay people to organize and violently protest. They have no regard for the law or human life.
Our country without the knowledge of the President and Congress have through rogue agencies and illegal activities of some government employees have created riots and racial tensions to keep Americans from becoming Unified.
I have had this discussion with many of my friends of others race’s. They can see bad on both sides of the Black Race vs the White Race.
Elon Musk and his family have had their lives threatened because of eliminating government waste, unnecessary government spending and unnecessary government agencies.
I ask if it was legal to burn other flags. In the background was a Rainbow colored flag. I never mentioned anything about that flag or a persons sexuality, but I received life threatening messages and other threatening messages because of my question. I posted an American Flag because I love this country. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
In my many years of life I have never seen so much hate for a President or his policies. I did like Biden and I doubt he was even running the country while serving as our President.
Reading about the LA riots I would guarantee that some are being paid to influence these riots and encouraging violence and property damage. I would think Governor Newsom would support President Trumps attempt to protect Americans and the city of LA. Unfortunately due to his hate for President Trump he refuses to corporate and has sued the President for trying to enforce Federal Law.
Unfortunately, I believe Governor Newsom and others are using these riots as political leverage for upcoming 2026 elections. NY and California are the two states where people are leaving these states moving to safer cities in other states.
Like I said earlier I cannot remember so much violence and hate being used as political ammunition. We should be working together as American Citizens to make the United States a safe place to live. A place where regardless of race we can still work together for what is best for America. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🙏🙏.
These riots are costing American Taxpayers million's of dollars and affecting the financial status of Insurance Companies. To answer one poster’s question riots are illegal when break the law. And I have no doubts if you follow the money it’s a paid for riot.

Yes, and Trump drops the ball by only sending 700 Marines in to help law enforcement when he should have sent 10,000 to 20,000 if needed. I say send in as many needed at the first sign of violence!!! IMO once the first police officer was injured or the first police car that was damaged by those thugs, whatever needed to stop them should have been done!!!

Those poor Americans, waving their Mexican flags and burning ours. Hopefully when it gets dark they are dealt with and begging to leave one s#ithole state and back to their S#ithole country .
Seriously though, can they not at least get original this time and not do the same boring rioting again. Do something that makes you stand out from the 2016-2020 rioters and let’s blast that on t.v. so everyone can remember in June why they voted as they did in November

Some theories of human behavior work better than others.
The one that says we should "rob from the hard working and give to the non-working"...doesn't work. Nor does the one that says that the government is the Savior and should superintend everything.
They don't work. They never have. They never will.
So no, we who are genuine conservatives (Trump is NOT a conservative) don't think that "all policies are the same".
California has a GDP larger than almost all countries on the Earth...yet is hopelessly bankrupt. Failed policies fail. The sooner y'all understand that, the better.

A lot of people seem downright gleeful at the prospect of active military personnel being deployed, and possibly firing on, people on US soil.
Whatever your politics, such an event is beyond tragic and we should pray it doesn’t come to that.
The veterans and active service members I know would deplore such an assignment…the military is not to be used for domestic action in all but the most dire circumstances.
Our country was founded in part due to a protest of British domestic military occupation. The 3rd amendment is numbered among the bill of rights …I never thought it would be relevant in my lifetime.

I’m stating that our Founders strongly disfavored using the federal military to police domestic matters, so much so, that they put it in the bill of rights. Additionally the military has a strong tradition of professional ism and staying out of domestic politics.
Just because you don’t like the group being targeted doesn’t change those facts. Are you hoping people are gunned down on live tv to satisfy some dark fantasy you have against “liberals, third world, moochers and the like”
The line here for me was when the Marines were deployed. The National Guard can handle these type of crises and CA and the Fed can fight over whether or not this Guard deployment is valid…but keep the active military branches out of domestic affairs!

when you vote to protect child molesters , drug dealers, wife beaters and those who have committed other unspeakable crimes then don’t be surprised when that former President they claimed would never be allowed to run again or would be killed before he does ends up President again and does what we voted him to do.
Hard to feel sorry for idiots who failed to listen when we tried to tell them for 4 years.

The Marines are going to guard federal buildings and city offices like they do around the world which frees up the National Guard to help LA Police. If God forbid, they get backed ino a corner and have to shoot live anmo, what are the odds of hitting an American citizen compared to a foreign invader?

They don't work because they are leeches on American society. Good for nothing individuals that will contribute nothing to the USA.
Hopefully these same people will be robbing, ######, or murdering the people (or their closest relatives) that let them in the country, as opposed to those that want the law applied, so that these idiots (all democrats of course) can understand what reality is.

I had to return after reading these conversations. Some are paid, but most aren't. They can protest and still have jobs. They don't work everyday or all day. People play 18 holes and still go to work, see movies, go party. LA is a huge city. It's not hard to get a few thousand protesters as one time.

You’re asking why people “don’t have to go to work” during the L.A. riots? That question alone makes it painfully clear you haven’t bothered to read a single real update on what’s happening. We’re on day five of sustained unrest. Not a one-day protest. Not a flash mob. This is a citywide emergency with military deployment, curfews, shuttered businesses, and street-level chaos. Stores have been looted, people are scared for their lives, and local leadership is clashing with the federal government over jurisdiction and constitutional overreach. But you think the real issue is why someone didn’t punch a clock on Monday?
You’re so disconnected from the gravity of this moment that you reduce it to some lazy culture-war talking point about “foreign flags.” News flash: the people protesting are Americans. Many of them work, pay taxes, and risked their safety to make a statement about what kind of country this is becoming. You may not like how it looks, but dismissing their action because you personally wouldn’t skip work for anything tells us more about your blind obedience than their supposed irresponsibility. This isn’t about work ethic—it’s about people standing up when America breaks its promises. And if you can’t understand that, maybe you’re the one who’s lost sight of what patriotism actually means.
