Been a great year, but injuries and decline in quality of pitching have this team on the decline for weeks now. Lost 5 of last 7 with 2 of those coming agains bad BC and Miami teams. This is not the time of year to be playing bad. Can’t just flip a switch and decide to play great for postseason. They will fail to get out of the regional yet again this year. Doesn’t matter what our seed is.

The Tigers swept Boston College by the way,winning 12-10,11-6 and 10-0.The Tigers need to come ready to play good and win tomorrow or they could very well find themselves not being a Top 8 seed come Monday during the selection show.

Miami (ACC tournament): L

pretty sure that's 3 wins and 4 losses. And it bears remembering that this team is 40-14 overall and finished the ACC regular season 20-10. They were 8-2 in ACC series this year (3 of the wins were sweeps, 1 of the losses was a sweep). I agree that the pitching has not been its best of late, but this team still deserves more credit than a lot of y'all are giving them right now. Plus, Miami is a bit of an oddity because they are extremely talented despite their poor showing in the regular season this year. They're probably better than their record indicates. They're also the team Clemson beat last year in the final to win the tournament, if that makes any difference.

They also have gone 12-11 since starting 28-3. That's my biggest concern. It's one thing to have a down series or two, but to be 1 game above .500 over 23 games doesn't give me high hopes for the postseason. Hoping they do flip the switch.
