and Jeffrey Goldberg
Ryan wrote the Daily Wire piece refuting the claims of the Atlantic article written AND edited by Goldberg.
Saaverda
No College education mentioned, if anyone can find evidence he attended college let me know First writing job was with the Gateway Pundit in 2017. accused of Plagiarism at the Daily Caller and left for the Daily Wire that same year.(been accused of plagiarism numerous times) He falsely claimed in 2018 that Parkland shooting survivor and gun control activist David Hogg used a Nazi salute.
*this all I could find, very little info on this man out there.
Jeffrey Goldberg.
attended the University of Pennsylvania, where he was editor-in-chief of The Daily Pennsylvanian. served in the Israeli Army. began his career at The Washington Post, where he was a police reporter. joined the Atlantic in 2007 and worked his way up to editor-in-chief. Goldberg wrote principally on foreign affairs, with a focus on the Middle East and Africa. won the oe & Laurie Dine Award for international human rights reporting.
Goldberg has conducted interviews with President Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, David Cameron, John Kerry, Benjamin Netanyahu, Isaac Herzog, Marco Rubio, Chris Christie, Ashton Carter, Ben Rhodes, Yair Lapid, Michael Oren, King Abdullah of Jordan, Ta-Nehisi Coates,David Gregory, and Tom Cotton, among others
Who can correctly guess who the more credible reporter is?

Great, let's turn this into a campusrefrom.org debate. I would love to read your understanding of how Public University Professors are indoctrinating their students into liberalism. Please tell me how this process works. Is there a slow grooming period, or do they just come out and explain to the students that they will fail the course if they do not give liberal answers? I am fascinated by this.
I also know the reason WHY there are forces intentionally undermining trust our higher education system. But I still want your opinion on why you believe this is happening.
thanks

The difference is that Goldberg is, as I mentioned and T3 mocked, Media Elite. He's one of the best of the best, one of the most-respected and most-credentialed reporters there are. He's not going to put out a risky story like this unless he's durn sure got sources 4x4-lock on record.
Saavedra in contrast isn't an actual journalist. He's a noise dispenser. His sole job - like almost all in so-called "conservative media" - is to put out excrement in volume for the express purpose of muting and blunting the effect of reporting done by guys like Goldberg. You have to look no further than the lengthy discourse we had with T3 and franc to see that it's working.
The zone has successfully been flooded with $hit. There's an alternate narrative for folks to latch onto - never mind that it was put out by a hack who probably barely has a GED, in contrast to the reporting done by a guy who's been in the running for Pulitzers - but we literally had franc - who is bright, educated, reasonable fair-minded guy! - using the words: "how is this guy any less reputable than The Atlantic?"
It's not franc's fault. Yeah, we can do a deep dive on every story, publication, and writer out there...but that takes time. There aren't a lot of easily-accessible tools telling us what is reputable and what is not. Which allows fourth-rate hacks like Saavedra to pretend equivalency with the likes of Goldberg...just as there's nothing readily accessible on Goldberg telling us: hey, this guy has serious cred in the biz, maybe we should take him more seriously than one of the Talking Heads on CNN, and certainly more seriously than the Human Kazoo over here who's just frantically making noise to try to drown out the actual news.
There's not enough reward for credibility and accuracy, not enough punishment for hackery. Peer review and mandatory display of those peer assessments would go a long way, IMHO, to restoring the faith of the public in our media sources again, and give them a much better handle on who's worth listening to and who isn't. Right now, how are folks supposed to know?

'Media elite,' means they sniff their own fart and drive a Prius to stop global warming. We commoners just don't get it.
