when the coach calls timeout and goes out to pitchers mound, why doesn't he take water out to the pitcher, esp on a hot day?
The players do it in football, basketball, etc during timeouts (water/Gatorade), why not take the pitcher a sip out there? Is it a rule?
Nobody knew, but they said they would ask about it.
