If they still count titles prior to the AP era or desegregation, then this one will count just as much as all the rest. And everyone needs to remember that the B1G chose this, no one disqualified them.

The conferences that play in the spring can play for a title... just like the conferences that play in the fall.... We have had multiple national champions in the past we may as well do that this year as well.

The asterisk should be on the 'Spring' national champion. They will have won against a watered down field, not playing the best of the best.

They can asterisk all they want. I could care less. Bring on college football and Clemson University will pursue their fourth national championship just like any other year and be darn proud of it!
