Alabama that made a run on him after getting beat 44-16 in Santa Clara. We chose wisely to keep him at Clemson by increasing his salary Bama was offering to get him.

Not sure on the Bama deal but his salary was definitely increased to make it harder to leave no doubt about that part of it.
