ALF was great. My dad - and rightly so - thought tv to be a waste of time. And for the most part he was right.
But for some reason ALF was the one show he would watch during the week (other than news programs).

Jim's driving test on Taxi will always be one of the great TV clips of all time. And who could ever forget "YOU DID IT WIT ANNUDDER WOMAN!" as soon as Latka walked through the front door of his house.
And Cheers was superb from start to finish. "NORM!". Sam, Diane, Coach, Cliffie, Norm, Woody, Lilith and Frazier in later years, Rebecca, on and on.
