The only way they could have made a trade, the Chefs & Bills were interested, was if they agreed to pick up part of his contract. No team wanted to pay the last two years on his deal. The OBJ deal with Baltimore complicated the DHop situation. Baltimore overpaid (by most accounts) for OBJ.
DeAndre has to decide if he's willing to take less $$, for a greater chance at a ring.

He already has caught passes from DW4 and who would honestly want to be a Browns player by choice and as for TL16 they are not even close to being in super bowl contention. He wants to have a chance to win a SB with his next team.
