SEC Sanky Flexing Muscle w help of ESPN

Sanky is starting to lobby for 5 SEC teams to be in CFP. He and ESPN (Finebaum and Dinich, etc. )are questioning why UGA is not in the top 12 ranked teams for CFP. Look for Sanky to start showing up on ESPN on a regular basis and for ESPN to start pushing SEC teams like they did last year when FSU got svrewed.
I read somewhere, maybe Brett Murphy column, don't remember, Sanky implied if SEC schools were going to play tough schedules and lose 2 or 3 games while some other teams played cupcakes and won all games or lost 1 game and were ranked higher than SEC teams, he would take his ball and carry it with the BIG and they would have their own CFP since those two conferences would almost assuredly win the CFP in any format. What he wants is more teams in the CFP because of the revenue each team gets for being in the CFP.
The ACC will get one team in. And if the conference champion didn't get an auto bid, the ACC or any other conference wouldn't get a single team in the CFP. When the SEC/BIG start scheduling inter conference games, they are not going to schedule games with any other conferences. The ACC knows that and UNC knows it has to get in one of those 2 or come up with an alternative if those two conferences do not expand. And they are in no hurry to split the pie with more teams. If RFK jr bans pharmacutical companies from advertising on tv, a lot of media revenue is going to dry up.

I hope he does. Dang advertisements just keep driving the price of meds up. I’m not going to my Dr. and mention what I seen on a commercial. I will leave it up to him to prescribe me what he sees is best for me.
What’s best for me may or probably involves kick backs for him/her though.

My daughter and I like to laugh at the side effects that are usually much worse than whatever the drug is supposed to treat. Usually goes something like:
"Talk to your doctor about Scamogen and reduce the common cold by up to 6 minutes! Side effects may include spontaneous combustion, rabid eye melting, deboning, skin evaporation, and instantaneous death."

It is amazing how their adds all cater to less than 1% of the Nations couples (if you know what I mean) While expecting the rest of us the believe all the benefits of the drugs. Its like look over hear at this couple and get amused, happy, or disgusted, while we slip in the required 40 side effects while you are pre-occupied.

But their little life vignettes are so wonderful, almost like 30 second Hallmark movies. It just makes me want to ask my doctor if Skyrizzy is right for me, no matter that I don't have whatever it's supposed to ameliorate. Sadly, I'm not in an interracial marriage, but if I had it to do over again I think I would have to give it a try. It looks like everyone else is.

Nice Democrat comment I expect you are one of those Democrats that got Covid few times but call all of the vaccines. Covid was big strain of cold but like flu hurt the seniors and people other medical conditions most. Covid didn’t attack kids except ones with medical conditions. Biden turned all deaths into Covid deaths by promising more funds to hospitals

Waste of time because Georgia will be history when the Vols beat them tomorrow. As far as Sanky, that is his job and as far as Finebaum goes, only he cares what he says.

If UGA loses close to TN and wins out at 9-3 there will still be loud arguments made for their inclusion. Ditto if Texas AM beats Texas-they will say both should make it. That would be half the field from the SEC.
"Does anyone really think Penn State, Indiana, or BYU are better than UGA or TAM?!?"

That’s where we’re headed anyway, it’s just a matter of time. That’s why we need to leave this conference forsaken by the Deity and join one of them (preferably the despised SEC).

No, the committee denied them a berth by applying a hypothetical “ eye test” they had never applied in that situation before once their starting QB was injured. After that, several starters opted out of the bowl game, and then they sucked.

WITH Travis, that team was.....mid. Yea they won but generally struggled to do so (5 wins by 10 or less). In the ACC. In a down year.

I tend to agree. My point is they applied that reasoning with FSU but not Ohio State or other teams in a similar situation. I will always believe they did it just to get Alabama in.

Spanky (not misspelled) is a pawn of the network.

ESPiN already has the ACC under contract with, what I'm reading is, a long term contract. That means that if the ACC breaks apart then ESPiN loses the rights to all sports in all ACC teams.
Sir, the thought that ESPiN is going to lose those rights puts it in a position of lost revenues which of course we know Minnie Mouse will have Mickey sleeping on the couch the rest of his life.
Micky's only choice in getting the best outcome is to try and fit the ACC's biggest money making schools into another conference, some of which will fit in the SEC.
Spanky isn't going to leave money on the table. That violates the very concept of good business sense. With FSU and Clemson being the biggest money makers in football (which is the top shelf sport now) ESPin will be demanding the SEC pick up Clemson and FSU. That, imo, will not be the limit.
When the ACC fails (one way or another) Spanky is not going to pass the opportunity to extort more from Mickey and Mickey might get to sleep with that little fox he's been courting all these decades.
The panic over the situation is hilarious here on Tnet. We are like a bunch of old women standing at the fence outback gossiping about the people on the other side of the tracks.
Even those of us who didn't attend Clemson and have two or three years of economics know that money in the sock doesn't get lost and even the richest among us won't fail to pick up a 20 dollar bill when it's in our path.
Right now Clemson is money in Mickey's sock, when we get out of this nonsense conference we will be that $20 bill.

Actually with the new super conferences forced to play more conference teams conferences titles games will get screwed before playoffs. If SMU loses 1 game ACC 3 one loss teams so one bumped from title game. With one Oregon loss Big could have 3 one loss teams one bumped. SEC with Texas loss could have several two loss conference teams many miss SEC title game to find way for Bama to make it
