And I know most of you will say it doesn't matter what he or others at esecpn says.
But it actually does matter because these guys have a plat form to give their opinions....and their opinions, like it or not, do matter. They matter because perception is reality. They speak this garbage and it fuels the country into believing.
Truth matters. But perception is just the same. Ask espn how it works....they created the myth called the sec greatest conference ever.

He will squawk for sure before, during, and after that game. I think May's problem is that he spent too long as Lou Holtz' puppet. The Clemson hatred probably rubbed off on him.

...this year. In the past I remember him calling things much more evenly and roughly matching reality. It seems he has suddenly caught the Lou Holtz disease.
It's apparent that at ESPN, SOMEONE will be the designated Clemson hater, doubt-caster, negative propagandist. They really don't like what Clemson has become primarily because of who Dabo is, what he stands for and the type player he recruits.
Our success works too much against their preferred narrative.

Mark May needs to be invited to come to Clemson for the Pitt weekend and get a positive first impression of the entire program. He clearly thinks highly of himself and his knowledge, however he should excuse himself from this particular broadcast if he cannot exhibit some degree of non bias if possible.
ESPIN needs to reexamine how they assign personnel, but May is clearly their negative Nellie type.

Has the overwhelming hatred for the ACC spewed by the media for so long stopped the conference from getting better the last few years?
That's why Mark May'S opinion don't matter. Now that the BCS is gone, about the only thing they can influence is the Heisman voting.

I'm pretty sure in the production meetings he was given the assignment to be the Tiger hater. Just like Skip Bayless never really was a Tebow fan - but he took on that roll because that part needed to be played.
