It's an entertainment business now... The university, academics, and everything comes with it is just for show now.

But being serious about it, Clemson will never hire Wade however he will land somewhere good again and win alot. He's now taken 3 different schools to the NCAAT and done so in 7/10 seasons.. counting COVID yr.

We really don't have much to lose by hiring Wade. Probation is a joke now and really doesn't exist. The fanabse is largely apathetic to basketball as well.

Some people on here make him out to be some sort of mobster or serial killer. Coach K and Dean Smith have done what he did and more and they are hailed as legends.
