I do not see how they could justify it. FSU beat two SEC teams not Vanderbilt or South Carolina. They actually bookended their regular season with SEC wins. One on the road with a backup quarterback. Seems like if FSU wins the only one that could get screwed is Texas who would be in SEC next year.
