Wow glad to hear he walked away. That's awesome god was looking out for this young man, knows he will do great things off the field as well! Seems like a very well rounded kid that will help not only clemson football but the clemson community. Can't wait for this man to be wearing the tiger paw

Also sometimes it's better to just take the damage to the car and hit the deer. Could have died swerving like that! A lot of ppl die that way sometimes you just got to accept your car will be damaged but chances of your not getting hurt are way lower then if you swerve!

I know first hand that's what you need to do. It's just instinct to try and swerve out the way.

Litchfield about 15 years ago. I had the family with me, pulling my boat, going 65.....I remember praying that he would not jump......I plastered him. I never swerved, braked, anything. There were 8 cars beside and behind me. He went from a buck chasing a doe to ground venison in about 5 seconds. $3800.00 damage to my truck.....I felt like I got off lucky. If he would have jumped....bad, bad, bad......
