Swinney Ball: Will Swinney realizes a dream come true
Yes, Alabama is where his dad went to school and it’s the state where he was born. His entire family hails from the Yellowhammer State, but Will Swinney has spent most of his life in Clemson, and the kid that grew up around the program will realize a dream come true when he puts on a Clemson uniform this fall. I know there is a lot of pressure on the kid without anyone putting pressure on him, no one but his self, and I'm sure he is putting way more on his self than should be. Good luck little Dabo, and just do what you can do, your dad won't expect anything more than your best bc that is the standard!!!

Seems to be a great young man. It has to be difficult to be in his position. I hope he earns some quality playing time.

I don't think I could play on the same team where my dad is the coach. That would be awkward, and could put the team in compromising situations. Of course, Coach Swinney is a different breed of person, and will keep his professional hat on at all times during football functions, and still be a father when he has to be. However, I couldn't do it, I just couldn't play for my dad. He coached my soccer team at the Boys and Girls Club, and even though we won the championship, it was a rough time period because the team viewed my brother and me as a teacher's pet so to speak. I wish the team success this season, and I hope to see both Jake Venables, and Will Swinney do wonderful things on the field. GO TIGERS!
