Would assume that FSU tries to run the ball a lot.......

including using Glenn much as Stanford did with their QB. Our rush defense especially on the edge hasnt been quite stellar. Probably the Noles best chance for the upset

They can try but their o-line is terrible. They are averaging 65 rushing yards per game and only 2.4 yards per carry. Stanford ran the ball well on their prior opponents.

If woods is back FSU will have less than 100 yards of total offense.

I like how you think. Be great to see it come to fruition.

The clear underdog will most likely always want to "shorten the game". FSU is a clear underdog; so to your point, 100% sound strategy would be to run the football.

Stanford ran that counter-play quite effectively against our defense. Backside discipline was tested frequently and it frequently failed. I have full trust that will be covered at length at meetings and on the field this week.

FSU will have better RB and QB speed than Stanford. If that same play hits for them; it could be different in terms of impact on the game. I.E. they could take it to the house instead of it just being a big gain.

The Stanford game was good because we only gave up 14 points; but also bad because we gave up a ton of yards!

Lots of meat on the bone and coaching Video for the coaches to review with the defense in terms of using it to get better!

They do. But, I think going into the season we thought we had perhaps the best DL in the country. Parker on one side and Woods on the other. Of course, no Woods meant youth and inexperience on the other side.

I thought Jaheim Lawson held his own and actually played pretty well for a supposed "pass rush specialist"!

I think other teams will try that same counter play to see if we have gotten better at defending it.
