Workout time of day

I've been squeezing my workouts in after kids go to bed each night (10:00p, sometimes as late as 11:00p). Any benefit to shifting sleep schedule so that I workout in morning instead ~6:00a? What's worked best for you?

I used to go after work at around 5 or so. It was good because I'd eaten

enough at that time to have plenty of energy. Now I do it on my lunch break. Took some getting used to but it's nice. Kind of an intermittent fasting work out and then come back to work and eat immediately afterwards. Also helps with the energy level at work and avoiding the 2 PM slow down.

I'm a sweaty mess. Office wouldn't appreciate the midweek soaking.

during his lunch break every day. He would run from our plant location to downtown, and then back. He was in shape, to say the least.
He got the deads before the age of 70. Genetics are a beyotch to overcome, and in the end, his got him. Pay Attention!

Morning can be good if I've eaten a good amount of carbs the night before. Otherwise I don't like working out in a fasted state, don't feel like I can go as hard. Plus the gym gives me something to look forward to n weeknights.

My minds faster to wake up. So I get up early, work, get the family out the door, and work out after 4pm. I shifted my work schedule to earlier, not my workout schedule.

About 1 PM. It's like a rejuvenation at work.

Lift AM.
Cardio/stretching/yoga or body weight resistance evening.
I love found lifting in evening I won't sleep well. But cardio or basic body weight resistance is fine in the evening and doesn't impact my sleep

Well first of all, I do more than one workout a day.

First workout is a 30-minute walk. Start with the dog, then drop her off and get the rest of the steps in.
Then I have some sort of afternoon workout - after work but before dinner.
Some days it's the gym (err day this week because of rain), some days it's a run. One day a week it is tai chi, which isn't a big calorie burner but helps with flexibility, balance, chi flow, peace of mind.
Two-a-days err day at a minimum.
