And Dabo mentioned talking to a few NFL coaches pre-draft that had called about Nuke. He told them they would be missing out if they let him go past 15. I'm not sure I would believe the rumor that Dabo thought he was anything but.
And a quote...he said, "I would take my shirt off and do cartwheels for Nuke Hopkins. He's that good." He was right.

It is well documented that nuke got a 2nd round grade...of course dabo knew he was 1st round material and didn't want nuk leaving money on the table. Nuk went out and "combined" himself into the first round

He did , right after his HS years at Daniel High School .
I'm super proud of Nuk Hopkins , and the fact that he loves his HS has no bearing on how I feel about him as a former Tiger player .
