I would be more inclined to believe he made a promise to Vizzina to redshirt him this year if at all possible, and correct, he will not break his word.

The only position Dabo benches is a kicker. And then...brings in a kicker who was out of the game, is no more reliable than the kid that was benched, and will not be part of the program after this year. Totally stupid move. So no...Viz will not get a chance.

I just like to see Helms get a few series. CV is probably not ready

and we haven’t had the opportunities to get people in the game just to get snaps. The plan is to redshirt CV ready or not so there is a 2 yr gap between QBs. Doing the same thing with recruiting having locked in our 2025 guy. That said CV can play in 4 regular season games and he’s played in 1 so can play in 3 of last 4. At this point not sure he gets any opportunity unless CK gets injured as we’re not involved in blowouts and the upcoming stretch is challenging. Dabo is going to ride with CK regardless though I think Helms should get a look. The most important aspect of QB is not your arm or your legs. It’s your decision making and so far CK has been failing miserably at that. I think Helms would be way ahead of CK in that category right now.
