Why Not?

Someone please explain to me what will it hurt firing Brad Brownell and hiring some fresh blood for this Men's Basketball Team. Brad has had 12 years and clearly is not the man to lead this program. Being the leader in wins here means nothing. Its clear he has been sitting around in his office in LJC and not recruiting and just feels so lackluster. Monte Lee owned up to his mistakes and I believe he will fix his problems starting next weekend. But the way Brad treated the ACCN reporter the other day was uncalled for. It is time for Brad and Paula to pack up and leave Clemson. Brownell can not handle being in the ACC. He is getting his lunch eaten constantly. Okay enough ranting..... thoughts?>

I agree. Clemson needs a coach who can make these game winning plays! Obviously BB can’t shoot the big three in close games and his late game rebounding is very poor. Time we get a coach who has a better floor game.

If truth be known Clemson Basketball has not dropped off much, but it hasn't improved either. Ever since Oliver Purnell left us in the middle of the night for DePaul (dumb move) and we brought in Brownell from Wright State, it just appears that he has done JUST enough to get by. Time will tell and Neff might not want to stir the apple cart up in his first year, but I say we upset the apple cart and hire a coach worth something. If Brownell was going to be something..... he would have improved on the run in 2016-2017 but yet it feels like we have back tracked. This University and the fans deserve better and if we cant get that are we are not making drastic changes and movement for the future.
