Not sure how we are going to beat Wake with only 5 healthy OL when we couldn't score when they were even healthier. =(

Why because we loss a 6’3 215 receiver? We have 4 of them on the team already and already have one committed. We need to go out and find a slot receiver. And lock up Trevor etienne.

Why do you think we will get Trevor or another slot receiver. Also the news about Justyn and the lack of elite recruiting on the OL is troubling.

Idk if we will get them or not but we will try. Like I said we already have a receiver with his exact same measurables, and we do pretty good with in state receivers. Our dl will be fine. We got beat on one DT by unc. We loaded up where needed players in the secondary. We have 6 secondary players committed. We have 2 oline man. I would bet we are going to get a lineman in the portal this off-season. We got a stud qb coming in. The only player that hurt was delp to uga. They will have 4 talented tightends next year.

We were fortunate to have gotten Shipley last year. We did so through the excitement of watching TL, ETN, etc. on offense and being a top 2 or 3 team.
While we have seen marginal improvement of our complete ineptness on offense, why would a top recruit want to be a part of this? They see what we’ve seen. You can’t reference 2016 or 2018 to a recruit who is seeing our offense now, in 2021.
We’ve fallen off the CFB map in regards to the top 10 or 20. Unless major changes are made in the off season (OC, offensive assistants), we won’t improve and will not attract the top tier recruits. Ross is gone to injury and the NFL, what receivers coming back have the wow factor for next year, maybe 1 ?

Ngata seems to be the best we got if he can even stay healthy two games in a row. I haven't seen enough of Ladson to know.
To be honest, both Collins seem pretty good but have no wow factor. Ajou Ajou won't play if he can't block.
Lossing Greene hurts but losing Shaw hurts worse. A 70-year-old coach for a mediocre school is out-recruiting us this year.
But hey some people will continue to turn a blind eye even as the drops increase.

I am also concerned that we had several high star recruits choose UNC over us.
This may be negative recruiting against Tony.

I get it, I was actually just talking to my wife who is a UGA fan about how I feel like it’s all over but I have talked myself off the edge because I know 1 year is just how it goes sometimes.
Right now Clemson has the 4th most talented roster in the country according to PFF.
I just saw a tweet from a college football analytics page that said Clemson currently has the #3 ranked ‘22 recruiting class.
Also Dabo Sweeney is a winner & is showing how much cares. He is the only coach to get in the same stratosphere as Saban. So I know he’ll do everything he needs to get it back.
I believe in the program. Dabo has said next years motto is “built to last” so I think we may be in for a special one next year. So let Georgia & these few other programs enjoy it because they’ll be back to squandering talent next year & being irrelevant & it’ll be back to the Clemson, Bama & Ohio State show.

Ohio state has always recruited top 5-8 talent.
Clemson ain't done yet boys. Dabo missed on a 5 star, it just happened to be a QB this time and it has drastically hurt this team both literally and figuratively. Klubnik doesn't even have to be a monster, he just needs to be mobile and throw with accuracy, which by everything we've seen he's very much both mobile and accurate. As long as Dabo is here and Brent Venables is here I doubt Clemson will fade away. Next years defense will be possibly the best we've seen in the Dabo Era and if the offense is solid it will be another year in the hunt.

People drive me crazy with this, if DJ just played average we would be undefeated right now. Lost to the number one team in the country off a pick 6 but all you here is the boo hoo fair weather fans. Clemson isn’t going anywhere but the players need the fans to support them the same as we did during the playoff runs or hell even more.

Because we are darn close now.
I have been a Clemson fan for 45+ years and have been through the worst of times. Things are slipping in my opinion. Recruiting is still not bad but we are being out-recruited by UNC this year...let that sink in.

Our OL play has been bad for years & recruiting/development has been non-existent. Same goes with the bland & predictable play calling. The amazing talent at QB, RB & WR has masked these 2 aspects with the game breaking plays that could occur on any given possession. Dabo has to make BIG changes on his staff and bring in some new blood & ideas on shaking things up.

The lingering mediocrity of the offensive line should have been addressed some time ago. I think that Robbie is past his time. We overcame it with great quarterback play in the past. We also haven't developed the WRs or there simply isn't any Sammys or Nukes or M.Williams in this group. I think that Bo Collins and Ngata are showing promise. DJ seems shaken and seems to lack the proper instincts to play the position at a high level. Defenses have perhaps caught up with what we do and we need to self scout and do things differently. I don't know how you account for the dropped balls or even if it happens to us more than other teams.
