Why does Bama's rotation of coaches never hurt recruiting?

They're always still number 1 or number 2 and they have different staffs almost every year.

Always has been.
Plus, Alabama has been known as a stepping stone for assistant coaches for a long time.

One word.
Saban
He’s shown time and time and time again that coaching staff changes have zero effect on Alabama’s championship chances and prepping them for the NFL.
Dabo hasn’t had the opportunity to prove that Clemson can do the same thing. Yet.

So far in 2021 they've had 2 2020: 7 2019: 8 2018: 8
So they do lose players.

Saban basically pays coordinators to run his system. Dabo hires the best coordinators that have their own system. Two very different coaches.

a number of reasons....
Dec 10, 2021, 2:20 PM
|
|
#1 Nick Saban
#2 they oversign and process players (something i wish Dabo would do now that the landscape has changed so much)
#3 they offer MORE kids early, we wait to see if #1 or 2 commit, once they're off the table we offer others.........which is often too late (this wasn't a huge issue until we started losing 25% of our class to the portal eventually
#4 doesn't directly relate to recruiting, but saban recruits the portal to supplement number deficiencies........and it works

Nick Saban. That is all. He’s got a proven track record of not only being able to help guys get to the NFL but alsoswap out coaches and have little to no drop off with the production on the field.

1. Saban

2. Saban’s proven success winning championships 3. Saban’s “system” so coaches are less important 4. NFL Draft success 5. New assistants are almost always high profile ex-NFL & college head coaches
It’s actually very simple and pretty obvious!

Bama's the best team money can buy, that's why. They are a win at all costs program, money flows like the finest champagne over there. You would think you would understand this by now.
