Who was better the College QB for 1 yr: Cam or Burrow?

To me it was definitely Cam. Who else on that Auburn team was noteworthy? I don't remember who his RB or his WRs were. Burrow had all-world studs at WR (Chase and Jefferson) and his RB was a 1st round draft pick. I don't think it's close even though Burrow put up historic numbers and might have been the most accurate college QB passer I've ever seen that year they won the Natty.

Burrow. Cam was a better runner due to size. Burrow a lot more talent, IMO.

It was Cam who pulled that team to the national championship with his talent more than Burrow imo

Cam. Dude lifted an entire team for a national championship. Burrow was good but had a lot more talent around him, and Brady pulling the strings.

As you said, the numbers are hard to ignore for Burrow, even with the talent he had and against good competition:

Passing: 402 of 527, 76.3%
Yards: 5671
60 TDs vs. 6 INTs

Those are video game numbers...

Cam, burrow, vince young = 3 greatest qb single seasons in college football histiry and all 3 were great...and 1

Cam coming out of nowhere for 51 tds and 4000k yards of offense with only six picks in the SEC without a single NFL draft pick on his team may, or may not, have been as impressive as Burrows season but we will see someone do what Burrow did before we see someone do what Cam did by elevating a bunch of nobodies to an undefeated season.
