best choice if we lose BV. BV has been a blessing to Clemson, his passion is unsurpassed and enthusiasm is rampant. While Florida is a dumpster fire, almost entirely because of an inept offense that cannot score, that defense is how do you say it, skrong ?? #amidoingitright

BV isn't going anywhere... He has all the money he could ask

for and people aren't going to be too quick to throw a head coaching job at him, even if they were almost all the coaching vacancies were filled last year and there is no way florida goes after a defensive coordinator after muschamp, they'll try to pull some big name coach from the grave. I could see jim tressel if he's eligible to coach anywhere. No ones going anywhere especially not this year, we've gotten through these last 3 years in tact and chad Morris will albeit have to win a national championship for people to really come after him. Dabo isn't going anywhere unless bama comes calling and bama is not going to come calling. Bv will be here for years to come and we will give him everything he needs for that to happen, were very very accommodating to coordinators if you haven't noticed.

I disagree with the notion that BV isn't going anywhere

Because of money...
1- how much is enough (and don't give me some communist BS response)? I know if I had the option between $900k and $3M, I'm taking the 3!
2- there is something to running your own shop. I personally think BV would be a great head coach and I would have to guess this would be as good of a year to do it as any.

will pretty much be able to name his price after this year. I guarantee dabo, brent venables or chad Morris are going to be here this time next year and like always someone will bring up some ridiculous claim that they're a lock for somewhere else. You can run around like chicken little thinking the sky is falling if you want but eventually you'll realize coaches don't jump ship the first chance they get especially when they just had their first really successful season and can pretty well name their paycheck. The only reason it's BV this year is because chad Morris hasn't looked as appealing in the eyes of those that think he's leaving to be a head coach. No ones going anywhere and you can save this post if you like to reflect on what ive said and if I'm wrong feel free to bring it up but no one but the seniors are going anywhere this year.

earlier this morning, I was even speculating this. Hope Venables stays, but... if he left, sure hire Muschamp.

Muschamp is an elite Recruiter/DC. He'd be great for us. I think Venables is waiting on the HC job at K-State. He will take it when it opens. He can stay here as long as he wants, though!

Really don't care too much for him. I don't see why anyone is worried about Venables. His name just never comes up. He is like a bud foster it seems in terms of head coaching

Because of muschamp , teams are hesitant to hire DCs as head coach.
