Just watched ETN scored long TD vs Pitt on 1st play in

ACCCG and he ran 150 yds it seemed by going right to one side of the field and back over to the middle and then finished on the left side into the endzone!
We have never had such a unique runner who could hit a hole anywhere in the line, burst thru it and then accelerate as he did at Clemson..
not even CJ or the dozens of great ones we had, imho.

I disagree. CJ wasn't blessed to be in the offense of the natty years. He could hit the hole better than anyone in Clemson history imo. Put CJ in 2018 offense, ETN may be a backup.

Example, do you think ETN had the same effect CJ did in the ACCCG in 2009? Very close and great player, but CJ was different level to my eye

CJ had 40 yard dash speed
ETN has 10 yard acceleration speed
Nothing against CJ and I do agree with your point about him not having an oline.
But I’ve never seen someone in a CU uniform explode in the first 5 yards like ETN

ETN was quick... but did get run down from behind on occasion. Both were awesome in their own way.

don't forget trevor almost matching etn stride for stride on that play to try and help for blocking if needed.tl's best play was the long td run against 0310 in the semis.
