based on some people that are in the HOF, he does.
Andruw Jones was a better player than Andre Dawson and Kirby Puckett, who are in the HOF. Not to mention the old school players like Bill Mazeroski and Jim Rice, who shouldn't have even sniffed the HOF.
Jones likely would be in the HOF if he retired when his Atlanta days were over. His stats after leaving the Braves were abysmal

I don't think he was even in the same ballpark as Kirby. Not many would take Jones over Dawson either. To top it all off, Jones is thought to have used roids. Roids or not, he is not getting in.

Even though his BA wasn't high he was a feared power hitter. He was easily the best defensive player in the entire league during has prime and was one of the reasons the Braves were a consistent playoff team. His career WaR ranks 112 and places him ahead of many current HoFers. The only reason he's not in yet is PED speculation.
