What’s with FSU?

I’m all for FSU taking a stand against the subpar pay from the ACC, but could some of you clear up for me why it seems like they’re treating themselves as a power house? You would understand Clemson doing so, but for appropriate reasons that relate to current success. Last season was FSU’s best season since the Dalvin Cook years (2014-2016).
FSU has lost to multiple very poor football programs in recent years, and are just now starting to show hope again.
So, I’m not stopping them from helping us leave the ACC, but settle down, they’re not totally relevant yet.

It is apparently a PowerPoint slide the FSU AD presented to their BOT. The guy who tweeted it works for the FSU Rivals site.

The television contracts are only for regular season games. If Clemson and Florida St. have awesome ratings in bowl games, that won't really matter because its won't affect the TV contract value for whatever conference they are in.

Probably better to do it without post season numbers to get a more apples to apples look. If Clemson is in the playoff and FSU is in the Cheezit flavored Mayonnaise Gaspirilla Belk JC Penney Bowl, of course Clemson will get a ton more viewers.

complete 'value' vs others. It'd show Clemson quite a bit higher than our acc peers.... including FSU.

I've got a buddy. A real hard core Nole. And he's been with them from the end of Bobby till now. What's worse. The guy's a BIT of a loud mouth.
I don't know if he can take FSU backsliding anymore.

Funny that he should use ten years, because their record from 2014 to 2017 was 13-1, 10-3, 10-3, 7-6. Their reord drops like rock starting in 2018. What would their average viewership be for the last five years compared to Clemson and the ACC?

No the cat in the stands reading a book because the coach you hired was worthless (needed the bennies cause he was also black) and a look what we did hire...both people left in the stands were not happy...FSU can prop up attendance with a huge student body,

These kind of talking points should have been talked about years ago. We are squarely behind the 8 ball and decide now is the time to get proactive. It’s now more like reactive.
