Haven’t played in years. Learned to play through my first wife’s family in Southern Indiana. Those are some euchre playing fools up in that area. It seems to be a very regional game. Loaded an app on my phone to play. Instantly heavily addicted.

Mrs. Tig's peeps always seemed to like playing euchre. I've seen flyers up in Lenny Boy Brewing in Charlotte and Waxhaw Taphouse in Waxhaw holding a euchre night, but I guess it's not that shocking since nobody is from around here anymore except for a select few of us.

Wife1's family was from outside of Otisco, meaning outside of nowhere. Otisco probably size of Pendleton or smaller (the pre-Winkopp Pendleton).

Which is outside of Newburgh. Which is outside of Evansville. It's a glorious wonderland of farms and strip mines, and not much else.
Here's your bonus fascinating Civil War history fact: The Newburgh Raid was a successful raid by Confederate partisans on Newburgh, Indiana, on July 18, 1862, making it the first town in a northern state to be captured during the American Civil War. The Confederate army confiscated supplies and ammunition without a shot being fired by tricking Newburgh's defenders into thinking the town was surrounded by cannons. In reality, the so-called cannons were an assemblage of a stove pipe, a charred log, and wagon wheels, forever giving the Confederate commander the nickname of Adam "Stovepipe" Johnson.

south of Indianapolis, the lady at the drive-through of a Wendy’s told me without a stutter, blink, or ounce of shame, that I could n****rig my straw or get a new one when I pointed out the one she gave me was unwrapped and broken for my drink. I grew up on the Gilbert side of Lexington and never once had that happen.
Was also told while up there the National HQ of KKK was a little bit south of there, but never drove around to confirm.

Up there, Brazil nuts are called "n-word" toes. I’m not sure why. I was just like 'ok.'
For the record, she didn’t call them that, just said that’s what people there called them. And I’m native SC-ian. Never heard that.

3 hand, 4 hand or 5 hand, all of which are different to play, but rules remain the same for scoring. Miss those days.
