What most fans are missing...

I think a lot of fans are seeing a tree and not a forest. Here are my thoughts: ESPN showed the Clemson sideline like they always do to the losing team with 4 mins or less to go. They showed our bench, and we were smiling. Before all of that me personally at halftime though we are winning but we are losing. I thought about that a lot this game doesn’t matter if we win, we finish # 5 or 6 lose 10 or 11. What does that mean?? Nothing. I saw a lot of what I needed in this game. Cade is going to be special, and the offense and defense looked better. I think this was a preseason game for this team for next year. I think the coaches viewed it as well by all the different looks and packages they tried. This game doesn’t mean anything next year does. Tennessee is going to be good next year, and Clemson might be looking for the rematch for next year in possible the CFP. The defense contained this offense, but our offense had scoring opportunities and didn’t capitalize on. I think this defense does come back as a power ranger move of 2023. This offense will be different next year. This was a great game in a lot of ways for Cade. I look forward to next year.

I envy your optimism. I saw a crappy offense get their ### handed to them by a crap show defense.

Would love to start considering 500 yards of offense, 100 plays, 34 first downs, and 36 minutes of possession a crap offense…

14 points. Ran like 50 plays inside their 35. That’s crap.

Don’t think that’s on the offense as much as it is on the ones coaching the offense. Offense performed exceptionally well—best it looked all season. It’s disappointing we got 14 points, but last I checked, Streeter doesn’t kick FG’s. Potter left 15 extra points on the field.

But there is no reason not to be ready to play. Totally outcoached in this game and the South Carolina game. So disappointed in the coaching effort.

Don't forget the ND game too. That one was a good ole time for my alcohol stash.

Clemson is unfortunately not making the CFP next year. This will be a 3 to 4 loss team with the current coordinators.
I predict we lose to ND, FSU twice since we may play them in the ACCCG, drop some kind of crazy game, and possibly lose to SC again.
