I don’t want to turn this into a “he’s a bad guy” or any of that but I’m talking about hiring the best Possible coach that actually would come to CU to compete with the Blue Bloods in the ACC or just live with our one and done result every year.

It’s like UGa football, we never win the big games, of course we don’t have loaded talent. I’d take Kirby as our basketball coach as long as he doesn’t ask boosters to pay players. He would do well with recruiting anyway!

A repeat of this season, over and over, would exponentially improve our basketball history.
We have people on here barking like we’ve got a trophy case the caliber of a basketball blue blood. We also make fun of the chickens for doing the same in football.

It's not that we had a bad season. Making the 68 is wonderful. It's the bone headed, scratch your head losses that are all too common that most get upset about.
We play Rutgers during the season, we probably win 8 out of 10 times.

I absolutely don’t understand that way of life. I cannot comprehend how someone can accept being mediocre and being ok with it. But there are plenty on here who are.
It’s one thing if you’re arrogant and trying to convince yourself that we’re improving (Judge Keller). It’s an entirely different (and pathetic) way of life to accept the fact that this is who we will be with Brad Brownell as head coach and be totally ok with it.

If Brad stays , we desperately need a new offensive coordinator.
This is not a comment based on 1 game or 1 season. It’s knowing that every single game, there is going to be 6 minute stretch where your going to outscored 11-0. Sometimes u can escape it, however in the postseason, your going to get beat(ACC Tourny, NCAA Tourny).
Neither Miami nor Rutgers are world beaters themselves, it’s just knowing when you play, every single game it’s maddening to watch such bad offense.

The question on TigerNet for too many is not if Clemson Hoops won or lost, or if the team played well, or even if the team gave a complete effort. Their barometer is to ask if the Clemson fans supported a coach who recruits marginal players, does not develop their games, plays a boring brand of ball, generates no alumni, fan or player enthusiasm, and has been paid $25M plus for being mediocre for 11-12 years. Yes, he seems to be a nice and well meaning guy. But do not be misled into comparing the Brownell .500 seasons to the Bill Foster or Cliff Ellis seasons when the ACC was college basketball's tour de force.
