Their citizens are bombarded with constant propaganda. They are thrown in jail for not showing enough affection for Dear Leader.
Their President has his own family members and military leaders killed.
If you go against the state, it's a crime that reaches three generations into your family.
They are constantly threatening their neighbors to the south with annihilation.
That's just the tip of the iceberg.
I think one could say they've gone too far for decades.
