With as much federal money, student loans, grants, research, etc, colleges receive, I'm surprised the feds don't have a policy that trumps state FOIA.
Going for the 24 hrs news cycle to move on to something else before responding to FOIAs and time to develop a good back story. Plausible deniability, We have nothing to hide.

Actually it appears he didn't learn.
Saban has apparently always been very good about not getting his own hands dirty. There's also the problem with the fact that Kirby flipped two Alabama recruits on national signing day...which apparently did not please the Master.
