Even if you don't land some of these guys, it's still great to see us in the mix. If he had a top 7 and needed one extra team and Clemson was the 8th team he thought of then so be it. Recruiting is like bass fishing in my mind. If we keep ending up in the top 3, top 5, top 8, etc. we will land some of these "big fish." Throw it out there and see if they bite.

This was a pleasant surprise but I don't see us taking too many des this cycle considering we are favorites for #1 and 2 overall players in 18 class both des one sde one wde Thomas and mascott or somethin like that! Imagine us getting #1 and #2 overall plus all the other studs the 18 cycle is going to be nasty!!

juggernaught. If we win the Natty, all the arguments other schools can hold up against us are gone, and the sky really is the limit. No secret that this is the reason Bama recruits so well now. They don't have to say, you COULD win a Natty. All the recruits have to do is look on the trophy shelf to see it is more probable than not that they WILL win at least one during their time there. That is where we want to be, stating the obvious.
