I heard that game pulled the lowest viewer ratings since 1999. By the time I was able to check on the game I saw the final minute of the first half and then just decided to watch nonsense on YouTube and then get ready for bed.

~ Half way through 2nd quarter … but only as background noise starting ~ midway through first quarter.
Wandering through TNet was my primary activity until switching channels to reruns of Everybody Loves Raymond.

Til TCU second possession in second half. Felt bad for them. Do not care for Smart-it hurt my heart watching the beatdown. Checked score when woke up this morning. Look forward to Bama running it up on Smart next year.

around then and I switched over to the game on the stadium view and sounds on an ESPN feed. It was about the 7 minute mark by then and UGA was up 7 with the ball close to the goal. PA, crowd, band, and ref sounds only. The word Georgia was said over and over and over, a lot.
I let it ride out in the background. I've always enjoyed the "I've been working on the railroad" song so it was cool to hear that a bunch of times. Not having announcers narrating every moment and letting the sounds of the stadium provide the sound throughout is a nice way to take in these type games. Would be nice if ESPN would open up more viewing/listening options like this for lesser games during the seasons.

Thought it started at 8 pm, so by the time i tuned in on the radio the Dawgs were up 7 and lining up to make it 10.
When I told my wife the final this morning she laughed and said some of my favorite words: "you were right."
So at least I can thank UGa for that moment.
