I voted Romney. And Bob Dole. And John McCain. And both Bushes.
The only Dem candidate I've ever voted for, in fact, is Biden in 2020. That's actually true for a lot of folks on this board. There really aren't a ton of outright leftists on football sites. The arguments here are mostly between MAGA's and Never Trump former Republicans-turned-independent. And even the actual Dems on this site are not exactly Bernie Bros.

I voted for Romney because he wasn’t atrocious like Obama had shown during his first term.
Romney and Ryan would have been as intense as Obama, H.Clinton, Biden, and Harris as far as expanding the reach of the Patriot Act so that the 4th Amendment would be severely weakened, and with the subsequent severe weakening if the 1st Amendment.
Because of the limited scope of information from non-tradional platforms such as TV, newspapers, and magazines, I was blissfully ignorant about most of the dirty dealimgs in which our federal bureaucracy and state governments were engaged. Therefore, I eagerly voted for Romney instead of doing so with resignation.
The one good thing from Obama’s second term was that Hillary ascended to Annointed One status at the same time that non-traditional media (which the federal bureaucracy had not yet censored and conscripted) rise to prominence.
We are nearly certain to have both the 1st and 4th Amendments denuded of their protective power even if Kamala isn’t installed as POTUS. The benefit of Trump being allowed to return to the WH is that the speed with which the 1st and 4th Amendments get destroyed will be slower. There is no RINO aka Romney / Ryan / Bush / Cheney / Haley that has any interest in slowing down the process by which citizen-controlled representative government gets replaced by bureaucracy-controlled authoritarian government. That’s why the well educated pro-Trump posters are so prominent on TNet’s Politics board. RINOs won’t help.

Not a trumper (obviously) and a proud dem.
That said, I would take Mitt over dumb donald any day, or W, or HW. I just disagreed with them on policy, but I didn’t think they were crazy people(s)
