Worried SMU will still get in with a loss.
Some beauts I heard the past 30 min:
- The B10 out of conference is a joke
- I thought it was about the 12 best teams
- Bama, Ole Miss, and SCAR are all better than SMU
- Bama's history deserves a spot in the playoffs
- Ohio State lost to an unranked team

I wish I could argue that point. But we can’t. Note Clemson was in the same type of battle with SC as Bama and LSU. So you could say we are comparable to those teams. Just sayin if we are playing this game.

Clemson played a tougher schedule than half the SEC teams . Check out Texas schedule. Too many teams in a conference means half the schools will avoid the good SEC teams

I always love the “it’s about the 12 best teams argument” and then people will say that Alabama, Ole Miss and South Carolina are all better than SMU… well how so? Because you said so? Because if Clemson sneaks by SMU, then based on the transitive property—that every SEC fan loves—SMU is roughly equal to South Carolina (who squeaked by us), and Alabama (who squeaked by South Carolina.)

Teams.. Carolina dang near lost to old dominion and while playing well, could easily have 6 losses this year as they could 11 wins, ole miss lost to a avg team and the worst in the SEC. And just looked ok in some others, outside of the big wins.
SMU could easily beat any of those 3 as they. Would lose it.

If you have 3 losses in the regular season then you have zero right to complain. There’s really no debating that.
The SEC should play a 12 game schedule against one another and a SEC only tournament at the end of the year, and just shut up.

I wish the SEC was their own entity that only played each other, had their conference championship and then played for their own "national title." Let the media talk about it all they want at that point and more importantly see how many people tune in to watch.
