It's always a flag to me when I see/hear someone say "the left always lies" or "the right always lies"...like the entire collection of people of a certain political leaning behave in lock-step at all times. It's reductive thinking for the intellectually challenged. People using these types statements lack the ability, or will, to explain things in detail or express themselves on a given point...so it's just easier to say stuff like "the left lies" or "the right lies". And then that leads into the thinking that is all too pervasive now...that people that disagree with me are "bad" or with to do the country harm. It's much easier to assail motives than to challenge ideas.

You've been called out many many times on it, which normally results in you stopping replying on the thread and moving on to the next lie.
At some point it moves beyond a simple difference of opinions and to the point that you clearly purposefully spread misinformation. And don't try to waste anyone's time and to ask for "proof" - we all know you know it.

The great irony is that you’re just parroting narratives that your anti-establishment algorithm feeds you. Usually it’s just links to tweets without any commentary, zero unique thought put into it. Nevermind, of course you're not. But the bewildering about-faces we've seen from Fox News over the years are absolutely insane and too numerous to mention.
Mind, the media love-fest for Kamala has been more than a little offputting and especially our cable outlets are cementing the fact that they're wastelands of partisanship. I've been letting my remote do the talking and I've lost track the number of times I've gone click the last few days.
I still haven't made up my own mind about Harris. I know I don't particularly like her. But a Harris who governs more-or-less from the middle, or at least is smart enough to recognize the necessity of governing from the middle even if her core instincts might be leftist, I could (barely, she'd be about my 50th choice at best) tolerate. I've been saying awhile though that if she tries to run as Kamala X, I'm out...and so, I suspect, are all the other genuine independents and Never Trump former Republicans. And as ever, we're the ones who are going to decide. The swing-vote middle always does.
I'm genuinely curious to see what coalition she decides to put together...and withholding judgement. Apparently a huge part of what got Kamala stomped good and proper in 2020 was the fact that she listened entirely too much to her ultra-Woke sister Maya and not her campaign staff. If she does it again the result is going to be the same. I sat out 2016 because I couldn't stomach Donald or Hillary, and I'll vote with my absence yet again if Kamala doesn't trouble herself to try to win my vote.
I absolutely will not vote for Donald. But I'm still a fair distance from being persuaded to vote for Kamala. That she's going to have to earn. Hillary didn't even try.

If the RNC had simply decided to abandon Trump right before rhe convention and anoint some else as the nominee, without a single vote being publicly cast for them, the leftist weirdos on here would be in a frenzy about how much the right hates democracy, blah blah blah. And then there's the centrists on here who have noticed that what we have in the US is in fact not democracy, on either side. We're pretty much reduced at this point to choosing between hemlock and cyanide. But hey! This year, we have a third choice! In 2024, JFK Jr. is offering us Death By Brain Worm. Which is at least novel, but it sounds, well, worse than the first two choices. So that's a hard pass.
Our two-party system lacks...nuance. And it suits the hyper-partisans with simple mindsets who want to reduce everything down to Left or Right because that's all their dim simian brains can handle.
Not that I'm talking about anyone in particular, of course.
