Very true. We are CLEARLY a program in decline. As for me, I am 100% done with Clemson football as long as #5 is on this team. Why in the world would someone like that want to stay when the entire Fanbase despises him?

Disappointment what was I felt last year, and most of this year. Even when we won we seemed to keep him in and letting teams that were put away back in to make them close. Syracuse had us beat if Cade hadn’t come in. After yesterday, I think the number 5 should be retired in shame.

when he uttered those words. Make no mistake about that.
I may not be particularly happy with our program this year or the one past, but the irrefutable fact is our trophy case is a he1l of a lot fuller than most other programs. One can never live on past glories, but at least we do have a past and a pretty-darn good one at that.
Now, our staff has some hard work to do; but I have no doubts that they will light the fires and get our program back on track!

I actually think that Dabo has lost this team with the lack of a QB change when it mattered most and the play calling was just so predictable. 1st down was 70% up the middle with Shipley, 2nd down was ??, 3rd and long was uncatchable balls for the most part. Just a bad day for the offense all the way around. Less than 90 total yards in second half?? Someone needs to be fired for that stupid play after the safety.
Yes, cycling out but with 9 and 10 wins per year on the horizon so back to where we deserve to be.

Not sure if you remember where we were before Dabo, but 9-10 win a year was not it…..more like 7-8 and praying one of those was the coots.

So the cycling out part is right. Our guys just had that gunshy look to them in the 2nd half. No fight or fire. No leader on this team and this one needed one bad. A lot of “oh well” attitudes it looked like all year. Had 3 opportunities to still win in the last 5 minutes of the game and nobody could hold on to the ball or get open or catch a ball that his them perfectly in the chest.. I mean, western Carolina can beat that 2nd half team.
