Projections leaning toward a Sunshine State Clemson bowl destination

Clemson clinched bowl eligibility over the weekend and is a heavy favorite to make it a three-game winning streak facing UConn Saturday (noon/ACCN). In postseason prognostications, ESPN again projects the Tigers on opposite coasts ($), but this week it’s the Gator (vs. Auburn on Dec. 31) and Holiday Read Update »

Fla or Cal are ok. Say no to the Mayo bowl or jar that is where this mess started

Let’s win 3 more games first! Then see what the future holds.
If our Offense keeps getting better, then an opponent like Texas A&M, or Michigan would be great!
Let’s get the Offense on track, the talent is there, just put it together now!

If not, a good trip would be nice…..

Plenty of Bowl options down South between San Antonio and Jacksonville!
Stay out of the North and West, bad trips for players and fans.

Go Tigers, win the next three!

I’ve always wanted to see that matchup!

Not after that beat down by USC...We deserve a bigger name!***

I don’t think this team “deserves” very much. A win against Florida would still be one of our best accomplishments this year if we were able to beat them.

wow. it's championships or bust, huh? personally, if this team wins out and goes 10-3 (w/ a bowl win) i'd be EXTATIC!.. i'd be more proud if this team won out, than if they'd gone 11-1... win the conference by a landslide, like usual.. and, then get beat in the semi's (pretty much last years scenario).

this years team has had to work harder for each victory than recent years. and, if they can win out... that'd be something. some may agree.. some may not.. it's all in perception.

Exactly! And the younger guys grow with each one of those hard fought wins and they will be that much better from it in the future. Gotta win the next 3 first. UCONN is the biggest game of the year!

We have a 4 game winning streak against Auburn. I would hate to have to try and extend it with this team and all of the injuries.

Well at least in a potential bowl matchup they will have had a few weeks of rest.

GO TIGERS

Ideally, South Carolina play against Oregon State in a bowl.

The C ocks vs. the Beavers is the game we didn't know we needed.

Wonder who comes up with the best bowl name

Nov 10, 2021, 1:56 PM

for this match-up?

Let me get this started...

JCPenney Bowl: "When it fits, you feel it."

AT&T Bowl: "Reach out and touch someone."

Gatorade Bowl: "is it in you?"

That would be oh so good***

i'd love to see Clemson face Minnesota. florida woulda been cool had the coots not beat the snot outta 'em. i do NOT wanta see another clemson/auburn game... been there, done that. i like a big ten matchup.

Yeah some of these bowl matches are alright

Nov 10, 2021, 8:14 AM

Florida, Minnesota, even Oregon State would be cool.

If we can help it, I'd rather not play Auburn - seems like we played them every other year in the 2010s ?? idk just seems like an underwhelming match up at the moment.

Would love to see us match up with a BIG10 team other than OSU.

Really looking forward to seeing how the next 3 games go.

Absolutely.

One nice thing about bowl season is we'll get time to heal up on defense!

It'll be interesting to see if we have any opt outs once our bowl destination is determined.
