Absolutely!
He was good, but does not have a cannon for an arm, but his ball placement is good, particularly throwing 'away' from the defenders.
He delivers the ball before taking a sack.
In the Syracuse game, he threw critical pass downfield that caused Renfrow to do a 180 to catch the ball. If he tried to thread the needle the ball would have been tough to catch. Good at APP State too...
I hope he does well here in Houston, an gets a shot at the NFL, maybe Trevor's back-up in Jacksonville. Every NFL team needs two QB's that can win.

What he lacks in "rocket-cannon-arm" he makes up for in anticipation!
My sister-in-law is a big APP St alum and we kind of keep up with App. So, I got to see him a bit while he was there. I think in the right system he can be "a surprise" to some people.
He's tough and tough-minded more important. The confidence it took to believe in his abilities between Duke, App and Clemson says a lot.
In short, I hope he does well and I think he has a legit shot of making some noise given the right circumstances!

The win he had over the Tar Heels in Boone was a classic. I think he can play in the NFL. He is head and shoulders above DJU!

Can't help but think Clemson with Chase Brice the last year goes to the playoffs. All season. I think he's got a real shot in the league. Dez Bryant thinks so.
