Interestingly, Christian Wilkins was 2nd in both ACC Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the year. Awesome.

Was hurt in the process. Some of the voters were likely confused whether to vote him All, Offensive, or Defensive. He has himself to blame for splitting his votes!

4 of them are Clemson players. The fact that we had two offensive players and two defensive players receive votes for ACC player of the year is a testament to how much balance this team has across the roster.
I still remember the days when it was a big deal to have anyone from Clemson receive votes for those awards. Now we have several guys getting recognition. Before Spiller won it in 2009 we hadn't had anyone win for over two decades.

the load with three other incredible running backs AND a strong passing attack. Imagine the eye-popping stats he’d have if he wasn’t surrounded by so many play-makers. (Probably with the wear and tear to go with it, though!)

Congratulations young man, and you D@mn sure enough have earned it. You are that invisible needled in the hay stack that our coaches have looked for, and we have seriously needed to find since C. J. Spiller and James Davis!!! And your highlight reel is special and something that all of Tiger Nation can be proud of, and thoroughly enjoy watching!!! I feel that it was a blessing that Richardson de-committed and went some where else, then some where else, then again some where else. Dabo went after and got Travis Etienne, and there isn't any doubt that we ended up with the best RB from the Richardson de-commitment!!!!

ETN: Yessir, most definitely. But, I mean, all the credit goes to the offensive line opening holes and the wide receivers blocking down field, and Adam and Tavien and Lyn-J running hard and keeping me fresh. Definitely a team award.
Such a talented and humble young man. So happy for him. Glad he's a Tiger.
