Until you’ve won a national title in the last ten years there’s just no reasonable way you should be given the nod ahead of a coach who has done it ( twice ) in that time span and continues to be a viable contender for another title. Whether you agree with his usage of the transfer portal or not, you cannot discount his record at program building, championships won and his ability to keep his program competitive for even more championships.

Sorry but neither Lanning, Sarkisian or Freeman have ascended to that level yet.
