I met an immediate family member of his in a work related setting when he was being recruited. This person was just like you described Justin. I’ve never met him, but was very impressed after working with his fam on numerous occasions.

I would love to see him move inside to DT after adding 10-15 pounds of good weight this summer.
We have depth at DE. We need depth at DT.

We are pretty solid at DE: Murphy, XT, KJ, and Mascoll.
However, we have virtually no experienced depth at DT. It makes sense for Foster to move inside. If he put on the added weight, then I could see that as a great move for his athletic future. He’s not an NFL DE. He could transition to a 3-Tech though.

That's great news. As I mentioned when I heard he was leaving, I honestly thought he was our best pure pass rusher...so it's definitely good news to get him back. Again, I'm only so-so on how high an NFL talent he really is (though I do think he gets drafted somewheres) but he definitely gets it done on the college level and for all the stars I kept seeing by some of those others guys names what I kept seeing was Foster was the one who was the best at actually getting to the passer.
I think he starts, if he is indeed recovered.

Great news, indeed. I remember when he was healthy who seasons ago how strong he was at the point of attack and the fact that he disrupted the pocket on most dropbacks. He was the one player I thought that we needed to come back this year to make a run at the Natty. Now with JF back in the fold and a healthy (and in shape) XT, we are just sooo stacked at DE is ain’t even fair. This guy will get drafted next near, you can bank on it.
