Decent game especially on the road.
Ed Cooley now in his 3rd year should have his best team at Georgetown.
Still hearing a neutral court game with VCU and maybe non conference game with UVa. Unless this game replaced those possibilities.

Leave it to the ACC to align with a basketball conference. Their first love.
More to do with the ACC and Big East trailing the other 3 bkball power conferences in strength of depth compared to the SEC, Big 12, and BIG.
The idea is to have the ACC and Big East play more games with each other to improve their chances of better NET ratings and SOS to get more teams in the NCAAT.
This has nothing to do with joining each other to be just good in basketball.

Wondering why every article or bit of news about basketball always draws a negative reaction. Georgetown has been down for a while but seem to be putting it back together. Can we all agree that scheduling a big name, even if they are no longer elite, is better than playing a SoCon team, Elon or other small school?

Large Clemson Alumni base in the DC area. The Away game atmosphere will be like a neutral court site.
