More than likely, he'll be ready during the season. With the success this staff has had in healing acl injuries in record time, this shouldn't be any different. We need him back, just hope they dont push too hard

Hes been practicing, with no contact. This is just an extension of that. Prep work. Nothing diffinitive. Clemson Nation will erupt and there will be no doubt when the announcement is made.

The potential starting offensive line for the Tigers will come in at an average weight of 311 lbs. with the potential backups coming in at average weight of 319 lbs. With the likes of Georgia, Alabama Ohio State with averages of 320 lbs + per offensive line it would be good to know how the Tigers compare in the weight room, speed, quickness, agility and stamina. Just not sure if any of these are measurable in comparison. A tremendous improvement is certainly paramount coming into this year. Be nice to see a mean streak across the board for this group and maintain it through the year. Will come down to mano a mano. May the best man win. Spot the ball.

It concerns me some.
Stellato going from 175 to 198 worries me a little bit also, especially for a player his size. Usually takes a couple of years for that kind of increase. I guess it's fine as long as he remains fast as a whip.

As a guy that stands a shade under 6-6, stretching it is one of the worst things about sports. Denhoff is listed as 6-5 which usually is a stretch and there's no way I am believing that he's 6-7.
Still, he should be a great player regardless of his height, or lack of it. Generally, 6-5 means 6-3 1/2, not 6-7.
I do wish you were right, but it really doesn't matter all that much if he can play.

but does speed, flexibility, bend and stamina suffer because of the extra weight... 1st year players who suddenly have to add the equivalent of an army backpack to their frame do get bigger and stronger, but struggle with stamina and some of those things that previously were big assets...
I wish they reported midseason and end of season weights to see who really put on good weight rather than adding temporary weight.

Stelato was not 175 when he played his senior year I said that since last year there’s no shot and looking at it his last weigh in was Feb 2019 so 2 and a half years is plenty of time for a 16 year old now 19 to gain 20 pounds of good weight.

He was highly rated as a recruit, but seemed too skinny for the next level.
Glad to see he’s bulked up quickly. Some promising guys we’ve brought in in the past have not been able to get big enough.

On average, most guys go up a few pounds from the previous season to the Weigh-In. I was really happy to see a lot of the big boys on defense not only NOT gain weight, but slim down a bit too. We lacked speed at times, so I'm hoping for a more athletic front seven.
DJ was big enough. He's still huge but dropping a few pounds just makes him that much more elusive and shifty. Lay losing 9 is HUGE. I've been waiting for him to take the next step and be that big TE that can catch but also block any edge rusher they go up against. He's seemed a little too big and slow in his route running, so I love seeing him lose almost 10 pounds!

This is true. A right guard. Who is usually the solo Guard on most passing downs shouldn't be under 315. 325- 330 is honestly closer to ideal. The fact he hasn't put on any weight in his 3 years being here makes me feel its a conscious decision because he doesn't want to be fat. Which is understandable, but isn't a good look for a offensive guard. On a championship lvl team. And it's not like he's a exceptionally strong player so it doesn't matter. He was in fact our weakest link in the run game last year. Gage was 325 for comparison
